The companies ahold Security Software Market




According to a survey from Gartner research, almost half of the security software marketis controlled by just five major corporations. Gartner found that nearly 44 percent of theUSD16, 5 billion global security software market in 2010 came from companies largerange of Symantec, McAfee, Trend Micro, IBM and EMC.

"The achievement still leaves the rest of the rations on the market. But if you look at the achievement of such companies in the market in 2006 is still 60 percent, then obviouslythis year they declined," said Ruggero Contu, Gartner analyst.
